Alpha

Alpha LogoA new Alpha course will begin on Thursday 23 September with a Taster evening at the church centre at 7pm to introduce people to the course, and get to know who is involved. The course is an exciting opportunity to give people the chance to explore real Christianity. It will run every Thursday at 7pm up until and including 2 December. After the 10.30am service on Sunday 12th September. If you have started coming to St Peter's recently and would like to find out a bit more about the church and meet a few leaders, please stay for a short while. Coffee and cakes will be served!
 

Sansome Walk partnership

Are you intending to be part of the group moving to Sansome Walk? If so, please could you let Steve or Frances Anderson know. To help with planning the way forward, we are hoping to know who is coming by Wed 8th September.
 

Social: Ten Pin Bowling

We are booking a Ten Pin Bowling night on Wednesday 24th November, 7:40 at BowlXtreme. We already have 7 House Group teams booked to take part but we are looking for more budding bowlers to join us. So . . . if you can organise a team of 8 that would be great but if that is not possible just let us know and we will make some teams up. Come along for a non-competitive night of fun. Sunday 5th September

On Sunday morning at 9 and 10.30am we begin a new series on "Going Deeper in Relationships", starting with "God's people" from 1 Corinthians 1:1-9.  The evening service will begin at 6.30pm, with a new series on "Joseph: pride, prejudice and Pharaoh’s palace", beginning with "What do you dream about?" from Genesis 37.1-11.
 

Stepping Into Freedom

Stepping Into Freedom Conference with Scott and Hilary Dalton: 10-12 Sept 2010 @ Emmanuel Church, Droitwich Spa Scott and Hilary’s mandate is “to ignite a passionate love for Jesus”. In 2001 the Lord launched them into an itinerant teaching and healing ministry, Rivers of Grace. Heart and Soul

Her poems show a deep desire to follow God ‘wholeheartedly’ (like Caleb – Numbers 14:24) and invite us as individuals and as a Church to look at the priorities of our everyday lives and ‘walk faithfully’ (1 Kings 2:4) with Him.

St Paul’s Hostel has been providing a valuable service for homeless people for over 30 years. We are currently on the look out for volunteers to help serve meals once or twice every three months. Sunday 12th September, 12.30pm at Sansome Walk. A further chance for those planning to move to Sansome Walk to talk about their expectations and hopes and to share vision with people from Sansome Walk.
 

Social: Picnic & Games

Sunday 5th September after the 10:30am service. Remember to bring your picnic, rugs, chairs and any games equipment you may have and also pray for good weather!! As per last year there will be a variety of games to join in with or spectate if you prefer. Come and have a fun afternoon getting to know each other better and bring your friends.
