The Alpha Course is designed to give anyone the chance to find out about real Christianity. People come because they can’t remember what Christianity is all about or because they have never really understood it. It is an opportunity to ask questions about what Christians believe in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and to listen to others talk about their faith and what it means to them.

The Alpha Course consists of 10 evening sessions with the option of a Saturday "awayday". The evenings start at 7.00pm when a meal is served. After the food we watch a DVD about one aspect of Christianity, such as Jesus’ death, whether God answers prayer or why the Holy Spirit is important. Afterwards there is time for discussion in small groups. The evening finishes by 9.30pm.
