24/7 Prayer 17th-24th February 2019.

24/7 Prayer 17th-24th February 2019.

Sunday is the first day of our 24/7 prayer week. There are still both Prayer slots and prayer enabler spots free.

One hour invested in this way will bring us individually, and as a church, closer to God. You can use the time as you wish, listen to God, pray for yourself, your family, our church, our country and our world. Will one hour be enough for you?

We will be using Room 1 at the church centre.

Get involved by booking a one-hour slot ASAP. We would really like to fill all slots. You can book online, or through MyChurchSuite.

We also need 24/7 prayer enablers, as the church needs to be manned overnight. We are booking 4 hour slots for desk cover. Please encourage others to sign up too.

Speak to Ann Harwood for any more details.

No need to come as a complete team, as teams can be created on the night, so don’t be afraid to sign up solo.

Sign up by clicking here by Sunday 10th March, or use pen and paper on the sheet at the entrance to the Main Hall (see Miz or Diana for more details).

Les Jenkins

Les has moved into a Care Home in the Birmingham area to be closer to his son. Les would like to thank the church family as he says “Church has been my life since my wife died”. Please hold Les in your prayers during this transition.

News from our social action partners | February 19

Through giving, praying and volunteering we partner with a range of organisations involved in social action in our city. Below is the next batch of updates about three more of our social action partners. Please use these to inform your prayers and consider whether you could get involved in a more practical way. To find out more please speak to a member of the Social Action Team in the first instance.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. 1 John 5: 14-15
