Carol Service

Please remember to join us for the Carol Service on 23rd December at 6pm. We are looking forward to celebrating the birth of Jesus with our Church family, and would welcome you after the service for hot drinks and mince pies.

We are looking for four volunteers to aid Liz Baker in providing the refreshments after the service. If you are able to help, please find Liz Baker or Katie Humphries after the Sunday service, or contact them using churchsuite. If you have one, please don’t forget your keep cup!

Foodbank News

Foodbank News

The Foodbank wishes to thank the fellowship at St Peters for continuing to make contributions of food and toiletries throughout this year. These items go towards giving the ever increasing number of clients food on the table for which they are very grateful, God Bless you.

The Foodbank will be open every weekday from 11-2 in the week commencing 17 December including Christmas Eve. This is to ensure that as many families as possible can be catered for over Christmas so food donations will still be needed.

As part of our Social Action series Grahame Lucas, manager of the Worcester Foodbank will be talking at today’s evening service (9 Dec) on the work of the Foodbank and additional services offered to children of families referred to the Foodbank ie clothes, toys and presents. Please come and hear more about this necessary work.

I volunteer at the Foodbank on a weekly basis so I am happy to talk to anyone about this work.

Thanks, Sue Beaudro.

Stamps

Stamps

This is a reminder to save all your Christmas stamps, and others throughout the year. Please place them in the Stamp box on the table outside the main worship room. The amount raised for Home Missions by all the Baptist Churches last year amounted to almost £5,000.
