We run an Alpha course at least once a year. The Alpha Course is designed to give anyone the chance to ask questions and explore issues. We’re built for it. So if you want to find out more about, life, faith and meaning Alpha could be for you.
People come for many reasons. It is an opportunity to ask questions about what Christians believe in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and to listen to others talk about their faith and what it means to them.

The Alpha Course consists of 10 evening sessions with a Saturday daytime session. The evenings start at 7pm when coffee/tea and cakes/biscuits are served. After refreshments we watch a short film about one aspect of Christianity.  Afterwards there is time for discussion/explanation in small groups. The evening finishes around  9.00pm.
Every course begins with a taster evening to introduce people to the course, and get to know who is involved.   It is an ideal opportunity to see if Alpha is for you.
If you are wondering about attending an Alpha Course at St Peter’s Baptist Church or if you would like to book a place on our next course you can email us at alpha@stpetersbaptist.org.uk ,  or phone us on 01905 767090.
