‘One family – many parts’ is a colourful, eye-catching piece of collaborative artwork created by people of all ages who are part of our church.
In January 2018, we launched our new vision and values – known as Acts 1:8. In response, everyone who sees this church as their spiritual home was invited to take a canvas tile and create a unique piece of art that expresses something about who they are.
We brought all the completed tiles together to create ‘One family – many parts’. This striking piece of artwork hangs on two walls in the entrance to our church centre.

‘One family – many parts’ celebrates the rich diversity of the people who are part of our church. As you can see, each of us is unique. Our ages span from under one to 90+. Our backgrounds are varied and we have mixed levels of artistic ability. From music, mission and motorbikes, to sport, social action and sewing, our interests and passions are just as diverse.
What connects us is that we’re all ordinary people, loved by God, and we all belong to this part of his family here in Worcester. ‘One family – many parts’ visually portrays our togetherness by bringing all our individual tiles together to form a vibrant depiction of our collective creativity.
There’s plenty of room for more people to join our family here at St Peter’s Baptist Church. Everyone is welcome.
All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it. 1 Corinthians 12: 27
