A vital part of our church community
Malachi 4:6 encapsulates God's heart for families and as a church we wholeheartedly believe families are a vital part of our church community. Families are an integral part of our worship gatherings on Sundays and we have a range of activities for babies right through to 18 year olds.
In addition to our Sunday gatherings, we also have a range of mid-week groups where we can connect and build relationship with local families.

Sundays
We have a whole range of Sunday groups for children and young people. Our wonderful team of leaders run dynamic, thought-provoking sessions where children and young people can explore faith, ask questions, make friends and have fun.
Sunday mornings:
Babies: There is a creche room for babies, where they can play and parents can watch the service via live stream.
Children: For children aged from 3 to 9 (school year 4).
Youth: For young people aged between 9 (school year 5) and 14.
On the fourth Sunday of the month all of our children and young people meet together in our 'Encounter' session where we explore stories of people encountering Jesus and how we can encounter Jesus, however old we are.
Midweek
Bumps & Babies
Meeting on Tuesday afternoons from 12:30 – 14:00, we welcome pregnant mums and anyone with little ones aged up to 18 months. We set out a sensory room with toys for older ones. There is no charge for this but you can treat yourself to some delicious sweet or savoury treats and refreshments from the Eden Coffee Shop.
The Eden Story
If you have little ones aged from 18 months - 4 years old, come along to The Eden Story. We meet on Tuesday mornings from 10:00 - 11:30. We play, craft, sing, dance, eat cake and explore Bible stories together. There is a £2 charge per child plus £1 per sibling. No booking required.
Lightbox
Lightbox is a community project which aims to provide a fun and safe space for young people aged between 11-18.
St Peter’s Baptist Church hosts a Lightbox drop-in on Mondays (term-time) between 16:00 – 18:00.
Focus
Focus is a Youth small group which aims to grow faith and explore the deeper questions in life aimed at young people aged 11-16.
St Peter’s Baptist Church hosts Focus on Fridays between 18:00 – 20:00
